Recent CME in Chennai calls for more courses in the future

This January, the Madras Medical Mission in Chennai was the location for an ISN Continuing Medical Education (CME) course on nephropathology. Local consultant pathologist Anila Abraham Kurien spoke at the sessions alongside Patrick Donovan Walker, Director of NephroPath in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.

She explains: “The CME covered the recent advances in nephropathology and was well appreciated by the participants. The session on case discussions was very interactive and an excellent learning experience for nephrology and pathology residents.”

She adds that: “many of the participants, both practicing as well as training pathologists and nephrologists, have requested similar CMEs in Chennai on a regular basis.”

Each year, the ISN CME program brings essential teaching and training to some 12,000 doctors and health care practitioners worldwide. It enhances the exposure of medical professionals to formal nephrology education. Learn more here.
