Celebrate World Kidney Day on March 12, 2015

World Kidney Day will be celebrated on March 12, 2015. This time around the focus is on Kidney Health for All.

Research shows that some communities suffer from a higher prevalence and incidence of kidney disease, lack adequate access to treatments or do not have the means or the education to take preventive measures. World Kidney Day wants to give them a voice and bring this issue forward on the global health policy agenda.

It is not too soon to start planning for March 12, 2015. Especially if you are going to organize an event to celebrate World Kidney Day (WKD). On the WKD website you can download the WKD logo 2015, the WKD campaign image and a presentation of WKD that you can use to promote World Kidney Day and briefly describe what it is.

This year we have also produced the Campaign Book. The Campaign Book contains everything you want to know about World Kidney Day, why it is important and how to get involved. It is a complete manual that explains step by step how you can prepare for World Kidney Day, what you can do on the day itself and how to maximize your efforts. This is only a small part of what we have in store this year. More material and information is coming soon.
