Join young nephrologists’ workshop in South Africa

In collaboration with Saving Young Lives, the next ISN Young Nephrologists Committee (YNC) workshop will take place during the South African Renal Society (SARS) congress. This year’s theme is peritoneal dialysis for acute kidney injury. With a truly world-class faculty, this hands-on training course is definitively not to be missed!

Saving Young Lives and the ISN YNC Committee will host the workshop on Friday October 12, 2018 from 8.30am to 12.30pm at the SARS congress in Johannesburg, South Africa.

This workshop is for you:

  • If you are a registrar, medical officer and/or nephrologist interested in developing peritoneal dialysis (PD) for acute kidney injury (AKI)
  • You want to gain valuable insight and knowledge from a great faculty, including Mignon McCulloch, Robert Freerks, Nicola Wearne and Brett Cullis.

The workshop includes lectures on how to prevent and treat AKI and PD for AKI in adults and children. This will be followed by a hands-on session on how to insert PD catheters at the bedside.

Places are limited. Contact Brett Cullis: email brett.cullis@gmail.com before October 9, 2018.

This workshop is made possible thanks to valuable support from our partners: the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA), the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) and EuroPD
