Only Two Weeks Left to Apply for an ISN Fellowship – Discover the Hybrid Program

The deadline to apply for an ISN Fellowship is May 1.

The ISN has developed a Hybrid Fellowship curriculum to complement ISN Fellows’ in-center training using online resources, now imperative due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Hybrid Fellowship curriculum comprises two phases:

  • Online Fellowship Foundation Course (pre-application)
  • Fellowship Online Components (during training at host center)

Phase 1 – ISN Fellowship Foundation Course

Applicants interested in a 12-month training course in general clinical nephrology will be required to complete a foundation course on the ISN Academy, including modules on AKI, GFR, Glomerular disease, Dialysis, and CKD.

Discover the ISN Fellowship Foundation Course on the ISN Academy.

Please note that this course is only necessary for applicants who will go on to train for a year in general clinical nephrology.

Phase 2 – ISN Fellowship Online Components

All successful ISN Fellows will have to complete a certain number of online modules on the ISN Academy during their training at the host institution.

All ISN Fellowship applicants should provide a detailed training plan to help the ISN Fellowship Committee ascertain a match between the applicant’s aspirations, the host center’s offer, and the home center’s strategy. Preference is given to applications for hands-on clinical training and training within the Fellow’s home region.

More details on phase two of the Hybrid Fellowship curriculum will be provided shortly. Please contact fellowship@theisn.org if you have any questions.
