Visit us at our booth and join the KSN-ISN Joint Symposium “Innovations and advances in kidney disease management” on Friday, June 12, from 10:20 a.m. – noon (Korea Standard Time). Session highlights include:
- ISN President Marcello Tonelli (Canada): “Kidney disease and the global NCD agenda: opportunities and challenges”
- Soo Wan Kim (South Korea): “Therapeutic target of kidney diseases: from bench to bedside”
- ISN immediate Past-President Masaomi Nangaku (Japan): “Innovation in nephrology (telemedicine)”
- Kook-Hwan Oh (South Korea): “Management of CKD: lessons from a nationwide Korean cohort”
KSN President and ISN Councilor, Hyeong Cheon Park, will co-chair the session, along with Bum Soon Choi from South Korea.
44th Vicenza Course AKI-CRRT-EBPT

Critical Care Nephrology
June 16-18, 2026 Vicenza, Italy
In the ISN-International Renal Research Institute of Vicenza joint session, ISN executive committee member Jolanta Malyszko will deliver the talk, “Health disparities in critical care nephrology,” on June 16 at 11 a.m. (Central European Summer Time).
As part of the long-term collaboration between the ISN and the Vicenza Course on AKI-CRRT and EBPT, three young ISN members have been selected to receive complimentary registration for the course:
- Rodrigo José Julio García (Chile)
- Nikola Glogonjac (Serbia)
- Temilade Oyeneyin (Nigeria)
In addition, Matina Kanata (Greece) and Prit Kurisirin (Thailand) will also receive complimentary registration after their abstracts were selected for presentation at the course.
The course will cover the latest advances in acute kidney injury, from diagnosis and therapeutic strategies to cutting-edge pharmacological treatments for chronic kidney disease.
