ISN Pioneer Award presentation

One of the meeting’s highlights will be the presentation of the ISN 2025 Pioneer Award for the Eastern & Central Europe region to Liliana Garneata (Romania). Following a recorded introduction by ISN President Marcello Tonelli, ISN Regional Board Chair Jolanta Malyszko will present the award and recognize Professor Garneata’s outstanding contributions to advancing kidney research and care in Romania.

XX National Russian Dialysis Society Conference and XXVI International CME Course

ISN Pioneer Award presentation

The conference provides an opportunity to present the ISN 2025 Pioneer Award for the NIS & Russia region to Lidia Lysenko (Russia). Following a virtual introduction by Adeera Levin, chair of the ISN-ACT (Advancing Clinical Trials) Committee, Irina Bobvika will pay tribute to Professor Lysenko’s lifelong contributions to fundamental and clinical nephrology, particularly her work advancing understanding of glomerulonephritis and amyloidosis in Russia. Professor Lysenko’s scientific talk will follow.
The nomination period for the 2027 ISN Pioneer Awards will open in January 2026 — please consider nominating a worthy candidate.
