Welcoming new ISN Fellows, IN Scholars, and Clinical Research grantees
From improving transplant outcomes to advancing clinical nephrology in local hospitals, the latest ISN Fellows, Interventional Nephrology (IN) Scholars, and Clinical Research Program grantees are already poised to make a difference in their communities. Through hands-on training, education, and innovative research, these professionals will gain the skills to strengthen worldwide kidney care where it’s needed most. The ISN is pleased to announce the newly selected recipients who will benefit from these transformative programs.
ISN Fellowships
The ISN welcomes 9 new fellows from 8 countries, selected from applications received in May. They will receive specialized training abroad in transplantation, glomerular disease, peritoneal dialysis, or clinical nephrology before returning home to apply their new skills.
The ISN Fellowship Program is supported by the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology, Elsevier, the Hong Kong Society of Nephrology. the International Association of Chinese Nephrologists, the Schrier Fund, The Transplant Society, and Otsuka.
Interventional Nephrology Scholarships
Fourteen professionals have been selected for intensive hands-on training at ISN Interventional Training Centers. Over 1–3 months, they will build practical skills in dialysis catheter insertion, kidney biopsy, endovascular procedures, and point-of-care ultrasound.
Clinical Research Program (CRP) awardees
From correcting acidosis in predialysis patients to kidney supportive care in Sri Lanka, these grantees will undertake essential research to tackle pressing kidney health challenges in their regions.
