Explore Ongoing Research and Share Your Data on the ISN Observatory of CKDu

The ISN i3C (International Consortium CKDu Collaborators) group developed the ISN Observatory of CKDu as part of its Collaboration Plan with the World Health Organization (WHO) to facilitate information exchange and raise awareness of the urgent issue of Chronic Kidney Disease of unknown etiology.

Collating ongoing studies and efforts on CKDu provides a valuable overview of the global burden of kidney disease, facilitating information exchange and collaboration between diverse groups working in this field.

One such study, involving ISN President and member of the i3C group Vivekanand Jha, has recently been published in Kidney International Reports.

The paper examines the clinical presentation and toxicological analyses of patients from Chhattisgarh, India, where an unusually high prevalence of deaths due to kidney disease have been reported. The full paper is accessible from the Resources section of the ISN Observatory of CKDu webpage.

Are you involved in human studies in CKDu? Let the global nephrology community know: Submit your research for inclusion on the ISN Observatory of CKDu. The full paper is accessible from the Resources section of the ISN Observatory of CKDu webpage.
