Amplifying global efforts to advance kidney health at WHA78
The ISN strongly supports the upcoming World Health Organization (WHO) resolution, “Reducing the burden of noncommunicable diseases through the promotion of kidney health and strengthening prevention and control of kidney disease.”
Led by Guatemala, this milestone resolution will be presented for a vote at the 78th World Health Assembly (WHA78), taking place in Geneva from May 19 to 27.
The ISN will be on the ground at WHA78, actively advocating for the adoption of this resolution and urging global leaders to recognize kidney health as a critical component of public health policy.
You can help amplify this message. Here’s how:
- Attend the ISN-Devex event: “Kidney Health Matters: A Policy Imperative for Economic Resilience” on Wednesday, May 21, 8:30–9:30 a.m. (CEST). Join us in person in Geneva or tune in online — register here.
