Pressing questions and promising developments in complement therapeutics in C3G and IgAN: ISN International Expert Forum
From May 2–4, 88 leading experts in nephrology gathered in Budapest, Hungary, for the “ISN’s International Expert Forum on Complement Therapeutics in C3G and IgAN” — an intensive two-day event that put the spotlight on some of the most pressing questions and promising developments in kidney care today.
Through a series of in-depth presentations, international experts discussed key topics, including measuring complement activity in C3G and IgAN, combining complement inhibitors with other immunomodulatory therapies, transplant-related challenges, and areas of persistent unmet need.

With complement-targeted therapies advancing rapidly, the forum provided a vital platform to assess what we know, identify knowledge gaps, and shape the path forward to improve outcomes for people living with these complex diseases.
This forum is one of many ways the ISN drives quality improvements in kidney care — by connecting members with the latest research, therapies, expertise and networking opportunities.
The ISN thanks the steering committee, speakers, moderators, and attendees, as well as the generous support of Alexion, Apellis, Novartis, Roche, Sobi, Vera Therapeutics, and ADARx for making this event possible.
