Train at a leading UK institution with a new ISN Fellowship opportunity

Ambitious early-career nephrologists from low-, lower-middle and upper-middle-income countries now have the chance to train at the renowned Royal London Hospital through a newly established fellowship — the Muhammad Magdi Yaqoob Fellowship.

Launched in partnership with the ISN to honor Professor Yaqoob’s lifetime commitment to global kidney care and education, this fellowship aims to build sustainable kidney care capacity where the need is greatest.

Each year, the fellowship will support two applicants from eligible countries. One fellow will complete six months of hands-on nephrology training at the Royal London Hospital, a leading UK health center. The second fellow will train at an ISN Regional Training Centre, gaining practical experience in a resource-appropriate setting.

If you’re interested in applying, contact fellowship@theisn.org, referencing the “Muhammad Magdi Yaqoob Fellowship.” Applications are accepted in the lead-up to the two annual deadlines: May 1 and October 1.

You can support the Muhammad Magdi Yaqoob Fellowship through this ISN donation portal. Contributions help ensure continued training opportunities for young nephrologists worldwide.
