Turn your research idea into impact: Apply by March 1 to the ISN Clinical Research Program
Do you have a clinical research question on how to improve kidney care in your region? The ISN Clinical Research Program (CRP) helps clinicians turn local priorities into publishable evidence, providing funding and support to launch meaningful studies.
Applicants must submit a short abstract to the relevant ISN Regional Coordinator by March 1.
Rumbidzai Dahwa received a CRP grant in 2017 to study the prevalence of chronic kidney disease in Zimbabwe. The project became the first comprehensive source of data on dialysis and renal replacement therapy in the country and was later published in the American Journal of Kidney Diseases.
Dr. Dahwa commented, “[The CRP] program was integral in enabling me to start my research career. This was my first research project after qualifying as a nephrologist, and the ISN’s support was invaluable. I want to build a dialysis registry based on the experience I gained from this study.”
