The Sister Transplant Centers (STC) Program, a joint initiative of the ISN and The Transplantation Society (TTS), fosters global partnerships between health centers to improve treatment and outcomes for kidney transplant patients in low-resource settings.
A sister center partnership set up in 2013 between the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Fundanier helped implement a deceased donor program and comprehensive pediatric nephrology care for children in Guatemala. Read more on the success of this collaboration here.
