Young Nephrologists – Win a Free Registration to the 42nd Vicenza Course: Apply by April 10

The 42nd Vicenza Course AKI-CRRT-ECOS and Critical Care Nephrology 2024 takes place from June 11-132024, at the Fiera di Vicenza Convention Center in Vicenza, Italy.

The course will focus on endpoints for new clinical trials and covers various topics in critical care nephrology, including:

  • Acute kidney injury (AKI) in different pathological conditions
  • Sepsis and related mechanisms, including viral, bacterial, and other infections
  • Indications and timing for renal replacement therapy (RRT)
  • Modalities of RRT, including dose and prescription
  • Outcome measures in critical care nephrology
  • Information communication technology related to healthcare and critical care nephrology
  • Results of nomenclature and consensus conferences proposed by the Acute Dialysis Quality Initiative

In addition, there will be sessions on extracorporeal organ support (ECOS), healthcare disparities, gender-related issues, and green medicine, especially sustainable and environment-friendly therapies.

As part of the ISN’s collaboration with this internationally renowned scientific course, three free registrations for the 42nd Vicenza Course are available to ISN members under 45 (Join the ISN or renew your membership here).

The application deadline is Wednesday, April 10, 2024, shortly before the World Congress of Nephrology 2024 in Buenos Aires.

Three selected nephrologists will receive the following benefits:*

  • ECM credits (Italian nephrologists only)
  • Invitation to the Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, June 11

the ISN Young Nephrologists Committee will select and notify the winners in early May. We encourage all applicants to explore travel and accommodation options well in advance so they can finalize their participation as soon as the selection process results are announced.
