Module 15: Discontinuing Dialysis

Module 16: Essential Communication Skills for Kidney Care

Dr. Rene Krause and Dr. Jane Schell’s discussion includes an outline of core communication skills to promote shared decision-making and how to apply these skills to discuss CKM in choice-restricted contexts.

Conservative Kidney Management (CKM) is a key component of the ISN’s 5–10-year strategy to improve global access to integrated care for safe, sustainable and equitable kidney diseases.
