Better leaders for better global kidney care: Meet the new ISN Emerging Leaders

A new cohort of rising kidney care leaders has joined the ISN Emerging Leaders Program (ELP). The ISN is excited to work with the new cohort toward advancing kidney care in ways that support nephrologists and their patients worldwide.
Over the next two years, this cohort of emerging leaders will train in leadership, collaborative problem-solving, and active engagement with ISN initiatives, translating global vision into practical action.
Meet the members of ELP cohort 4
Each participant joins an ISN committee, working group, or regional board as an observer, gaining firsthand insights into how international strategies are developed while contributing their own expertise to ongoing projects. Monthly virtual meetings, mentorship, and joint assignments strengthen their ability to work across regions and disciplines.
ELP members will contribute to and participate in WCN’26 activities, including a program orientation session to discuss and plan their activities over the next two years.
Throughout the Emerging Leaders Program, the cohort will join workshops and webinars with global health leaders to work together on innovative projects addressing urgent kidney health challenges.
