Based on an ISN-led policy paper published in The Lancet in May 2026, the one-pager outlines five practical steps countries can take to move from commitment to implementation, emphasizing the need to embed kidney health into primary care, noncommunicable disease strategies, and universal health coverage, rather than building separate systems.
