HRH Prince Daniel of Sweden meets ISN Immediate Past President, Masaomi Nangaku, in Japan to champion kidney health
His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden, a kidney transplant recipient and patron of the ISN, met with Immediate Past President Masaomi Nangaku in Japan to discuss ISN initiatives. Prince Daniel told local press, “Encouraging early detection and preventing kidney disease from worsening through better diet is essential, as so many people worldwide currently suffer from the condition.”

Encouraging government action in Tajikistan: Implementing the ISN Dialysis Framework
ISN Dialysis Working Group Past Chair Irma Tchokhonelidze met with Tajikistan’s Ministry of Health to introduce the ISN Dialysis Framework. This advocacy has helped establish a hub for the ISN Sister Renal Centers partnership and strengthen nephrology services at the State Institution National Medical Center, showing how targeted action can advance sustainable kidney care in resource-limited settings.
