ISN’s first official WHA side event to take place at WHA79 alongside an event co-hosted with Devex
As part of its engagement at the 79th World Health Assembly, the ISN will contribute to two separate events on May 20. The ISN's first official WHA side event will focus on integrated care across the life span, while a session held in collaboration with Devex will spotlight cost-efficient, innovative kidney care models that can help translate the WHO kidney health resolution into practice.

Turning shared priorities into structured, sustainable progress: CARE-NEPH in action
“With this initiative, we shall be able to train at least two nephrologists every year and create a platform for other institutions to take up the mantle,” says Peace Bagasha, country lead for Uganda. CARE-NEPH East Africa is building on this ambition by aligning national leaders, ISN Grants, and collaborative capacity-building initiatives across Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Tanzania, helping translate shared priorities into stronger, more sustainable kidney care services in the region.
