Calculated Versus Measured Albumin-Creatinine Ratio to Predict Kidney Failure and Death in People with Chronic Kidney Disease
This study compares the performance of albumin-to-creatinine ratio (ACR) calculated from urine dipstick protein versus protein-to-creatinine ratio (PCR) measured ACR in predicting kidney failure in people with CKD. The authors found that dipstick-calculated ACR has a similar prognostic performance to PCR-calculated ACR.
