The ASCEND-NHQ Randomized Trial Found Positive Effects of Daprodustat on Hemoglobin and Quality of Life in Patients With Non-Dialysis Chronic Kidney Disease
This clinical trial administered a daily daprodustat or a placebo pill to 614 patients with CKD and anemia for 28 weeks.
People treated with daprodustat had a larger increase in hemoglobin and less fatigue than those who received the placebo and compared with their hemoglobin and fatigue levels at the outset.

Patient Self-testing of Kidney Function at Home, a Prospective Clinical Feasibility Study in Kidney Transplant Recipients
A small feasibility study investigated agreement between home self-test and standard clinic test results. Self-test creatinine results showed good analytical and clinical agreement with standard clinic test results, demonstrating that training selected patients to competently use hand-held devices to self-test kidney function at home is possible.
